Beauty for Ashes provides long and short term housing for homeless women. Beauty for Ashes also is a safe haven for women who are in domestic violence situations who need to leave on short notice. About 29,000 people live in poverty. Approximately 57% of these households are in N.C.
FOOD BANK
Serving the people in our community and rural areas. When the food do not last for a month BFAOM fills the void.
Beauty for Ashes Outreach Ministries (BFAOM) exist to lend a hand up to the homeless women by providing services that will bring them out of the depths of poverty to the nucleus of the American dream — self- sufficiency. The programs in place are designed to re-educate, thus transforming the mindset of hopelessness to a place of emotional, social and financial stability. The targeted population includes the visible and invisible homeless from various backgrounds, including veterans and victims of domestic violence. BFAOM recognizes that it is these women’s desire and dream to rise up out of obscurity and become productive members of society. With the resources available through our organization, we can help make these dreams become a reality.
